Current Love: Chanel Resort 2012

Hello girls!  How are all my lovely readers today?  I hope all is well!  I have been working like crazy, more then I ever have before, so much so, that I got 20 hours of overtime!  So as you can tell, that's what I've been up to lately!  Luckily I have some time today, to check out some things online, stop by your blogs, and look and see what's new!

Something that really caught my attention today, was Chanel's Resort 2012 collection!  Chanel never disapoints me anyway, but there are some exceptional dresses!  Some of these would be perfect for a Greecian vacation! Check out my favorites from the collection!!

 How Chanel Does Bathing suits:

I love her sunglasses!
And pairing the suit with that jacket, so Chanel!
But would you wear a jacket with your bathing suit?

I just love this long cape!  I would feel very luxurious if I actually had some place to wear a bathing suit with a long cape like that!

THE WHITES:

I Love this dress, or maybe it's a shirt and dress combo, but the puffy sleeves, paired with a high waist looks so pretty!  Those boot things however, are not my style, although several of the models wore them!  There like a boot and flip flop combo..... a little strange I think!

This dress is so easy going yet, simply stunning!

I'm not so sure if I like the flowers on the straps, but the shape of this dress and the slit on the one side, is so gorgeous!

I love this dress paired with that belt!

This dress is probably my favorite!  The light gray tone is elegant, and the flow of this dress makes for a perfect Grecian holiday!  Don't you think??

Do you like any of these looks from Chanel's Resort 2012 collection?  Are there any other collections you have your eye on lately??

Street Style

Girls, by now, you should all know my love for street style!  I could probably spend hours looking online at all the amazing and inspiring street style photos out there!  Elle.com usually offers some great looks.  I thought you might want to take a look for yourself!

The first girl, above, is probably my favorite from the bunch.  She looks effortlessly cool to me!

I love the tights that the girl is wearing below!  Tights are a fun way to still show your individual style during the colder months when you have to be bundled up in coats.  There are so many different styles, colors, and patterns out there, you can still look chic in the cold!

With it being so bitter cold lately, I was drawn to the girls sporting warmer pieces, like sweaters, cardis, and coats!

Her cardigan below, looks so cozy and warm!  Cardigans like that, have been all I've been wanting lately!  This cold weather is just so miserable!  But I think it would be less dreadful, with warm pieces like that one!

This one below maybe might not be the warmest of the bunch, but I think her look is so simple, and yet she looks so pretty!  It makes me miss my long hair!  Those jeans are amazing, are they not?

Also, while looking on Elle's website, I couldn't help but notice SJP on their latest cover!

In the interview with Sarah, it talks about how she's dealing with aging.  I just want to say, I think she's again beautifully!!!
Hope you're having a lovely weekend girls!

Spectacular Saturday: Keira Knightley

While searching for pictures of the Elle Style Awards I came across the recent cover of Elle magazine.  I wanted to do a post about it because I think Keira looks gorgeous here!  This outfit she is wearing on the cover is so well put together!!!  I love it and would definitely wear it myself! Would you?

Take a look at some of the other shots from this photo shoot!!

I personably think Keira is very stunning!  I don't like when I see her way to skinny that it looks unhealthy, but I think she looks lovely here!

Are you a fan of Keira??  What do you think about these shots??

I hope you all are having a wonderful weekend!!

Fall Is Here but Bright Colors Don't Have to Go!

So I was checking out some street style. I noticed these lovely neon colors! I got to thinking, most of the time when fall comes around we tend to put our bright colors away and settle for more basic colors, blacks, grays, browns, you know......but it doesn't have to be that way! You can incorporate neon colors into your fall wardrobe and still look amazing! These girls do! Whether it's a bright colored blazer, which is a simple way to keep those brights with you, or wearing a fun colored dress with a jean jacket or simple cardigan over it! You can do it! Or even add a bright colored scarf to your fall look!

I myself, really like this pink jumpsuit! I've never worn anything like that before, but maybe I will have to get the courage to buy something like that!

What do you girls think? Will you try to hold onto your bright colors? Or just stick to the neutral shades this fall?? Can't we have it both ways?! :)

I also wanted to point out this great look, especially for those of you who are a bit scared to go with the neon look. These girl looks amazing in this all black outfit! It definitely works for fall, and if it happens to be an extremely cold day, wear some tights! Those shoes and that jacket are very fashion savy!

Well, that is all for now! Did you catch that though? Two posts in a row!!!! lol Anyway, I hope all you bloggers out there have a fantastic weekend!! Lots of Love!

Rock the Mens-Wear and Yet Embrace Your Girly Side

Hello girls! I was recently checking out www.elle.com and came across a few good finds. Have you seen Jamie King in any magazine spreads for a while? I know I haven't seen this model turned actress do any fashion spreads for quite some time. So I thought I would show you a few of the pictures from her menswear-inspired photo shoot from EllE

What do you think?

I also noticed they had an article about how to dress like a Gossip Girl (the college years) Just a glimpse into what their style is going to be this season was great! Don't these girls look amazing??

I just wanted to highlight a few items that Elle suggested. These are the ones that really captivated my attention.

First this Valentino tote! Isn't this sparkly goodness just fabulous? Price tag: $4,695! So this won't be a purchase this blogger will be making any time soon, but a girl can dream, can't she?

Next, are these cute Chloe suede lace-up ankle boots. Price tag: $695! Would you spend that kind of money on shoes? I couldn't let myself to that!! And say that I had, I don't think I would ever wear them, in fear that I would ruin them some how, and then all that money would be down the drain.....lol

This next one, is from Anna Sui, it's a playsuit. Price tag: $515 I thought this was pretty and fun, this one was under Serena's wardrobe ideas.

I also wanted to mention Lady Gaga's outfit below. Besides the sunglasses, Her whole outfit is from Marc Jacobs 2010 collection. Sunglasses are from Alexander Wang. Although I wouldn't wear that much ruffles this outfit isn't so bad, in fact it's tame in comparison to what she normally puts together. I like the golds shades!

Well, I better get going for today, believe it or not I really am trying to keep this blog updated, but sadly I can't find too much free time to do so! But again, I will try to do better! I hope you all have an absolutely wonderful day!
