Stuck On Her Style

I know some of you may have had enough, but I adore Jessica Stroup's style!  I came across some new photos of her and I had to share!  Doesn't she look gorgeous?!  Every time I see her it makes me want to be brave and chop my hair!  With my upcoming birthday (April 5th) I still can't decide what I'm going to do for my hair appointment!  Not only am I naturally indecisive, I'm scared to death about ruining my hair!  I'm afraid if I chop it this short, my face might look chunkier!  And I definitely don't want that! I want a hair do that will make me look more my age!  I'm about to be 24 and I look 16! lol  It's sad I know!

I already know I'm getting some type of color, not sure if it's going to be all over color, or I've thought about getting multiple colored highlights, maybe mixing some light blonde and a shade of brown in there....I don't know!  If I don't chop it I may just layer it up more.  My layers I had have pretty much grown out.  And then there's the bangs!  Do I get my side bands trimmed so there more noticeable again?  Should I try the full fringed out look, or maybe just not try anything new.....

Here's some pictures of Jessica from a year or 2 ago to show you how she looked before she chopped her hair all off. What do you think?  Do you prefer it short or long?

Here she is with highlights prior to the haircut.  I really prefer her with the dark chocolate locks.

Then here is another great picture of her shorter hair that she wears these days! Her hair looks a little bit longer in this picture, and that length was what I was more or less considering.  I thought maybe it might make me look more my age.  But again, I don't want to do it if it's going to make my face look chubby!  Plus my hair takes ages to grow out....so I would be stuck with it for a long time!

Well, the countdown is on, we will see what I do.  Any suggestions, like always, are welcomed with open arms!

I think that I'll tell you now, what you don't want to hear ;D: Please, remain your hair unaffected! I love your hair and I envy you because of your beautiful hair.

I had my hair long last year. Then I got a hair cut just as Jessica on the last picture. I bitterly regret that now.

I like Jessica with long hair. If you're not sure what to do with your hair you can also ask your hairdresser for some advice. They mostly know what hair goes with your face. But I also think your hair is gorgeous!

You will be gorgeous with long hair or short hair! Have you thought about layers like picture #4? I recently went that route on my hair and I've been really happy with it. I have baby fine hair that doesn't natually have volume so this has given me a new look and I like it! Kind of a best of both worlds, not too short, not too long, you know? :)

the dark hair flatters her a lot more than the highlights! she's very beautiful

I say cut it! It will make you look older and you can always grow it back out.

I think dark hair looks better on her, but she pulls of long and short very well!

not only that but you have been wanting to do it for a while... :) I say do it! Her cut is very cute. Maybe I'll do mine like that... :)

I love her style and think she's gorgeous. I love her short hair, but definitely prefer it when it was longer. I've always been a huge fan of longer hair over short hair.
I think a full fringed look might suit you. And it's always nice to have something dfferent done. If it's to drastic, you could always make your current bangs more noticeable.

Sweetie, I think you should definitely go for the plunge! Get the cut that she has currently (she looks so much more gorgeous with short hair IMHO) and if you're afraid, go for long bangs first! You can slowly get it cut shorter when you find the courage:)

Hope that helps! Cant wait to see you with your new hair, and I don't think you will look chubby at all:P

She does have gorgeous style; then again, so do you Tasha. I think you should talk to a hairstylist - see what they think you should do for a more mature look that will still make you look fabulous!! :)

On her, I think it looks better short. Like you said, long hair makes you look young. I've been trying to grow mine out for a couple years now, and I constantly have the urge to just go and chop it all off... but then I remember how long it takes to grow back and ahhhh!
