YMI JEANS REVIEW

I was lucky enough to receive a pair of Extreme dark denim leggings courtesy YMI!  Stephanie from YMI Jeans was very kind with sending me a free pair to check out as well as being so helpful with information about YMI Jeans.  I was so excited to receive my package in the mail and even more excited to share my review with all of you! 

First let me share a bit of information with you about YMI Jeans:

I chose to try out YMI's Extreme Dark Denim Legging.  I've discovered that denim leggings are like the perfect "skinny jeans" for my body type.  I've never been able to find a good pair of skinny jeans that fit well around the waist line and near the ankles.  Denim leggings work out perfectly because they have the skinny look to them but with a bit of a stretch.  

This YMI pair did not disappoint.  Take a look at how I wore them:

I paired these denim leggings with a longer striped tunic from H&M.  Since the leggings themselves are very formfitting I wanted to even out the outfit a bit with a longer top that wasn't so tight itself.  The Blue striped top I thought would look great paired with my Anchor necklace from Forever 21 for a bit of a nautical feel.  

The Extreme Denim Leggings work well with heels but would also look great with a cute pair of flats as well.  I'm wearing my Simply Vera by Vera Wang black heels with this outfit. 

This pair has a bleach streak wash in Dark Rinse and features faux front pockets for an ultra smooth look.  You can also get the Extreme denim leggings in a Ocean Blue Rinse. 

It was my first time wearing something from YMI Jeans and I was very pleased with the results.

"Fitting" In

So I wanted you girls to see my new pants!!  They are from my birthday, but I haven't done an actual outfit post with them yet.  They are from Lauren Conrad's collection at Kohl's.  They are part skinny jeans part denim leggings!  At least that's what the tag said! :)

 

They are regularly priced at $44.00, but happen to be on sale right now for only $23.99!  Check them out here on the Kohl's website!  I haven't found a pair of skinny jeans that fit me properly.  These fit like a dream!  They are so comfortable and can be worn dressy or casual!  Pair them with heels, like I'm doing here, or flip flops or a different casual shoe for a simpler look.  You can also pair them with your favorite pair of boots.  This would definitely be a pair of jeans that won't do that annoying uncomfortable bunching inside your boots!

 

 So how are you girls doing???  I had a few scheduled posts this past week because I knew I wouldn't have much time for blogging.  I will be definitely stopping by as many of your blogs as I can today! :)  I hope all is well with you girls! 

 Oh, my husband wants me to state that the landscaping you see, the stones and such, is his doing! lol  He has been a lot of work outdoors to get our yard looking fantastic!  I am proud of him!

My wardrobe has been evolving since I started this blog.  I'm happy about that.  I've always considered myself fashionable, but since having this blog I can definitely tell how more conscious I am to "make" an outfit.  To add that special touch to really make an outfit pop.  I've also found such great inspiration from all of you girls!  You bloggers, especially the ones who feature their own outfits, give me such amazing ideas on how I can add something or combine something together that I wouldn't normally think of.  It's great to see what you girls come up with, and using your ideas and making it my own.  With your fashion sense, magazines, tv shows, stars, models and such, their really is a lot out there to be inspired by, you only have to look!
