Tantalizing Thursday: Curl, Curl, Curl.....

So I don't look too great here.  This was how I did my hair for church last Sunday.  I was still pretty sick, but well enough to try something new with my hair!  I usually just straighten it these days, but I thought I should try getting out the old curling iron and curl my hair.  Back in high school I used to curl my hair quite often.  My hair was usually around my shoulders back then, and I would do ringlets all over.  I mean all over!!  It was fun, but I just haven't taken the time to do any of that these past few years.  Until recent.

I think I look funny in this picture above!! : P

Anyway, with my hair being pretty long the results are a bit different from what I remember, but I like it.  It offers a change from the regular routine!  Which is good for someone who gets so antsy with her hair.  I curled it again just today, and will have pictures of that here soon.

I also used to French braid my hair quite often as well, but I haven't done that for a while either, I'm thinking I will though soon.  I liked usually doing two French braids rather than just one down the middle.  When I do that, I will definitely show you girls!  I guess the older I get and the less time I have I just don't go the extra mile with my hair, but I think that's all going to change.  At least somewhat!  Having my hair done special makes me feel more confident and I had forgotten how that kind of confidence felt.

What type of special hairdos do you girls do?  Is there a certain style that makes you feel fabulous?  If so I'd love to know!  I'm sure we all would!!!

like the curls, looks nice on you :) I like wearing my hair half up ( some of the top hair in a sort of ponytail, but with a pretty pin or something), ans sometimes I add a nice headband to match my outfit. Should do that tomorrow, got inspired by your post now!

I would french braid part of the front and do a messy bun.
Curl it. I learned a new way to curl long hair, which I LOVE! If you want to know how just let me know.
Poof up the front/bangs and half of my hair, leaving half down. idk if that makes sense.
Oh my gosh! I am pretty sure I've told you this before, but youtube tutorials are awesome when wanting a new hairstyle. :) Except when you've got horrible middle staged mullet going on like me. Then all you can do is put it in a pony. BUt someday. Oh how I long for you long hair. :) Another idea for a change is to do layers. No money? flip your hair upside down and cut straight across. It works. :) haha. Sorry for the long post. I do this often though so you should be use to it.

You look really beautiful in the pictures. Love the curls on you! You should definitely wear it like that more often.
For me, I always feel special when I have straight hair. My hair is naturally really curly, so doing it straight is different for me.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE your hair! I so wish I could curl it that way! What barrel size is your curling iron?

You're flippin' gorgeous :)

I love your curls - I've always wanted to do my hair that way; but honestly, I have no clue how. Basically, my hair has a life of its own. It does what it wants, when it wants - hence the reason I typically just leave it down. It's kind of wild!! :)

I think a french braid would look fabulous on you! Lucky you have such nice long hair! Mine is taking forever to grow out...

Lately I've been putting my wet hair in two buns and then in the morning I'll fluff it out and hairspray it! It's super easy and I love it!
