Style Icon of The Moment: Emma Stone

Ok, girls, so I recently watched the movie Easy A.  I know I'm a little bit behind.... I didn't watch it right away because based of the previews I thought it was going to be rather raunchy.  And that's just not my cup of tea.  However the last time I was at the video store, I was told to pick out a free rental from a certain area, and Easy A was among them (there were not many options)  so I though I would give it a shot, it's free you know, why not?

I was pleasantly impressed!  I loved the movie, there were no bad parts, a couple of bad words here and there, but really not that bad.  Emma Stone was brilliant as Olive!  I watched the movie twice in two days! :)  Anyway, why I'm sharing this with all of you, is not only should you see this movie if you haven't, but Emma Stone is gorgeous, and have you noticed her recently at award shows and such?!  Great style!

So I thought I would share with you a quick bio and some fashionable outfits she's been wearing lately!
Here's a little bit of her background:

She was born November 6, 1988 in Scottsdale, Arizona.  (That would make her 22, for those of you who are terrible at math! : P ) Full name, Emily Jean Stone.  She decided she wanted to become an actor since the age of 11 and began performing in local theater productions.  She even used a PowerPoint presentation to convince her parents that she should move to California at age 15 to pursue an acting career.  Her first big break, she won the role of Laurie Partridge on the 2005 VH1 reality show In Search of the Partridge Family.

She stared on a tv show, called Drive, from 2006-2007, which I had never heard of, but maybe you have?  She played Violet Trimble.

Made her film debut in 2007 as Jules in Superbad as Jules.

In 2008 she played Natalie in The House Bunny.

The House Bunny Premiere Party.  Along side costars Rumor Willlis and Anna Farris.
Also in 2008 she played Amelia along side Rainn Wilson in the movie The Rocker.
2009 was a good year for her, with three movies, Paper Man, Zombieland (great movie!  hilarious! ), and Ghosts of Girlfriends Past.
2010 brought Easy A and Marmaduke.

Movies coming up:

Now let's take a look at her fashion choices lately!!

I didn't realize that she was actually born a blonde, and dyed her hair red.  I think she looks good with both. What do you think?  She went back to blonde for her upcoming role in the reboot of Spiderman.  She'll be playing Gwen Stacy, Peter Parker's love interest.

I love how down to earth Emma Stone is.  She's so different from many celebs her age.  Not getting into trouble with the law, gorgeous, but not stick thin and bony, and super funny!  Love her!

Any thoughts?  Like her style?
Prefer the blonde locks or the red?

Have a wonderful afternoon girls!

I love Emma Stone too. She's gorgeous. Me & Jess watched Easy A and loved it. Like you said the movie trailers made it seem raunchier that it actually was, but the movie had a good message. She looked amazing it to. Loved the shoes she was wearing in it.
I actually did see Drive (I think FOX only aired like 3 episodes and cancelled it) but it was because Nathan Fillion (Castle) starred in it and I love him.
As for Gwen Stacy, Jess (who is a comic book lover) thinks her casting is great. I really don't know to much about the character. I have to go to Jess for all my comic info :)
As for the hair, I like the blond but I guess I'm a little bias being a blond myself :) Jess likes the red.
Anyway, loved the post and have a happy Friday. Kara XOXO

Ok, first I didn't make the connection that this was the same girl in the blond hair wearing calvin klein.l LOL I think that is way crazy I didn't figure that one out! I just thought I didn't know who she was!!!!

I really liked Easy A. I was worried it would be really raunchy too, but it wasn't bad and was pretty funny! I HATED ghosts of girlfriends past though. bleh...

I loved this post though! I liked getting to know more about her. I always love these posts.

I think she's a cutie. I didn't really like Easy A (to no fault of her own; I just don't like high school movies, ya know?), but I think she does seem really down to Earth. Thumbs up!

And I love her style, too. Duh. ;)

Oh wow, I can't believe I'm just two months older than her. I figured she was older than 22!

I haven't seen Easy A, but I've heard a lot of good things about it. I guess I should finally check it out, huh?

She looks incredibly gorgeous! I really prefer her with darker hair, but my favorite of these photos has to be her look at the Critic's Choice Awards. Stunning!!

She looks like a completely different person with the blonde hair! I like it both ways, but I think I prefer her with darker hair. She looks more unique that way. She does have excellent style though! I particularly love her look at the Easy A premiere. Oh and excellent movie, btw.

I really love her. I first saw her in The House Bunny and thought she was so fantastic in it. And was incredible in Zombieland as well. I never got round to watching Easy A, maybe I will now.
She does have great style. I really love her red carpet style, especially that red dress. She's one of the few people that can look fab as a redhead and a blonde.
