Can you believe it?!

So this is something I don't understand. I was reading the latest Life and Style magazine and in it was an article about Miley Cyrus defending herself on being called fat! Whether you are a fan or not of Miley Cyrus....a.k.a. Hannah Montana, I think we can all agree she is not fat! It just proves how viscous the media is. Look at the picture that went along with the article. I don't know whether Life and Style Magazine was agreeing or not, or if this picture was suppossed to show a chunky version of Miley. If so, where the heck is the fat? I wish I had that body! lol And she is only 16, it's a bit harsh to criticize any ones shape let alone someone who is young and impressionable!

During a recent trip to the Bahamas, Miley took to her Twitter account to defend her bikini body. "Talk all you want.... No more late-night Lucky Charms," she wrote on May 15, after posting that she'd jiggled her thighs and "they shook on their own." She continued, "I have my flaws. I'm a normal girl. There are things about my body I'd change, but stop calling me fat in posts. I don't even like the word."

Does this type of stuff upset any of you? I do believe body image is a huge issue that does effect many people, especially young girls, and women. Sadly we see and hear things like this that only make it worse!

Have you ever noticed how Lauren Conrad's eyeliner always looks perfect? Do you know her secret? If not, here it is:

Being the spokesperson for Mark Makeup has it's perks, free makeup!! Oh, how I would love that job! Anyway, so she has said she wears on the edge hook up liquid eyeliner in cleo. I have this eyeliner, it is indeed heavenly! Before purchasing this product I had never owned liquid eyeliner before. I was inspired by Lauren's makeup on The Hills, to give it a try. I actually just had to reorder another one since I ran out of it! It's amazing! It goes on smoothly and is so easy! Even if you are makeup impaired you can do this! lol The results are fabulous!! I would suggest this product to anyone! You can't beat the price too! $5.50. When buying another one, again in the shade cleo, I decided to try Medusa, which is a shade of brown, it should be arriving any day now, so I will let you know what I think about that shade.

Below is Mark Makeup's other eyeliner called eyemarker, it isn't a liquid eyeliner, but it too is a great product. They also offer more shades in this type. I own jet, which is black, and I just purchased Lapis, which is a shade of blue! I'm excited to try this color! I haven't bought makeup in a while, so I thought I would treat myself to some new goodies!!! It is also $5.50! You can't beat these prices or the quality! Sailor inspired pieces! All of these clothes make me want to go out on a boat!!!! I love the blazer, I also really like the dress with the belt! For my husband and I Tuesdays are our only day off from work, so it’s nice to just have a day away from work, and a full day to spend with my husband

I would love to be able to sew more things. I’ve just made pretty basic stuff so far but I’m going to try to improve my skills! I’d also love to learn how to cook better! I’m a good baker, but as for the other stuff…..well….not so talented.

What's the last thing you bought?
blue polo from Hollister ( which I’ve never bought anything from before, it's also pictured above), a long sleeve flower patterned shirt from Forever 21, and a delicate short sleeve sweater with a intricate back detail from Charlotte Russe (coming soon to a blog near you!)

High School Musical 3 Senior Year Soundtrack…… don’t make fun please :)

I love fall when it’s not too hot, but slightly cool. Also I like summer, when all the flowers are in full bloom

Getting in better shape, which is only a challenge because I can’t find the time to work out!

That is a tough one. I live in Indiana right now, and it would be hard to leave all my family behind, if it weren’t for them, I’d say London or Rome. Both of those places have always fascinated me! Also, I think Greece is breathtakingly beautiful. So can I have summer homes in all of those places??

So I really like what Vanessa Hudgens wears. Every time her picture is taken, whether it's at a special event or just on the street, she always looks good! Her hair is gorgeous, and she has great fashion sense!!!

Below, is just a mix of pinks I gathered on polyvore, inspired by this picture I came across of Vanessa Hudgens. Also, Vanessa is set to star in a movie titled Beastly, which is a modern day version of Beauty and the Beast, so I'm sure that will be good!!

Inspired by clothes worn at prep schools, I bring you this!!! Although I didn't go to a prep school, I would wear some of these pieces!!! I think most of it is cute! I attended a Christian school from 7th to 12th grade, it was a college preparatory school, but I wouldn't consider it an actual prep school, nothing like the school they attend in Gossip Girl! That's for sure! I want the blazer, the polo, and the pink sweater! The flats are precious! Oh, and I'd wear the skirt!

I've been Gone Forever!!!

Ok, so I am terribly sorry for being absent!!! Life sometimes just doesn't make time for posting on here, which is sad! Work has been crazy and a bit overwhelming lately. That is my main excuse!! Sorry to all my fellow bloggers, but do not fret I'm back with a vengeance!! lol

My husband and I just finished a class we were taking, and we both did really well in it, we also recently got raises at our job, so we went on a shopping trip to celebrate! My husband got a few books, and a new Chicago Bears jersey, (he is a die hard bears fan!) I got some new clothes, one shirt shown here from Forever 21!! It wasn't something I would normally have seen and thought, oh I have to have that, but when I tried it on, it was so soft and I liked the boat neck or whatever you call it! lol

So there's a new outfit post, and I promise to have pictures of my other new buys soon!!
