So still getting settled in our new home! Painting takes forever, and gets tiresome but we are very happy though! It's nice knowing that this house belongs to us, we can decorate it however we went, unlike at the apartment. It's also the place we will one day raise our kids. It's unbelievable to think about. Thankfully we have been blessed with being able to buy a home in this economy, God has been looking out for us. I hope you too feel blessed in one way or another in your life. Look for the good things, life isn't always easy, that's for sure, but most of us have it easier then a lot people out there, and we shouldn't take that for granted! Be thankful for the jobs you have, because so many people would love to have a stable pay check but aren't fortunate enough. Be thankful for the roof above your head, as many people out there seek refuge in places we would never sleep in......
Just be happy and gracious and kindhearted, reach out to those in need, because you never know when you might be the person in need of a helpful hand

I didn't intend to go into that, I guess it was just something on my mind. Quite a turn from Lady Gaga!

Take a Look at Shenae Grimes

So I think I am a bit obsessed with 90210! I'm sure that's what you all are thinking! :) Anyway, I thought I would give my viewers a look into Shenae Grimes fashion style in real life! Above is a picture from justjared.com Shenae is rocking an animal print ankle boot! She did the right thing by pairing such a bold printed shoe with a solid color like black! You don't want to look overdone!!

Below is a picture of Shenae wearing those stylish over-the-knee boots that Sherin from HiFashion was discussing on Tuesday! The dress she has with that belt looks great!

Here Shenae took a trip to the darker side! What do you think? Do you like this shade or her normal light brown hue??

I like the cute bow on this white tank! Any of you can do this! It could be a very easy DIY. Just find the right bow for your sense of style!!

Below Shenae is wearing tights that purposely have runs in them?! I'm sorry but I do not like this look. Don't get me wrong I like the outfit, but just not the pantyhose or tights. Whenever my pantyhose, back in the day, would get one run in it I would throw them away! I always thought it looks trashy, for lack of a better word! What do you think about it?

Well, I hope you like Shenae's real life style. I think she has some great outfits pictured here, I do like Jessica Stroup's style better though! I better get going!! I hope all of you are doing amazing!!

Uh, Hair!!

Girls I died my hair a light brown.....I don't know if I like it or not, I really wanted to be brave enough to go as dark as Jessica stroup, but didn't have to courage. I don't know if I should go back to blonde or go darker, or just keep it as is.......

Keep in mind I am pale, and will not go to a tanning bed.....

Should I do a fake tan from a bottle?? Which kind is best? Or should I just avoid it?

I don't want to just fade into the background....


Wish I had a working camera, I will try to show you the new hair soon! Even if it's just with the laptop!

Leia was initially going to write about Over The Knee boots, but I had to steal it off her because I am soooo in love with this trend. They are everywhere this season, from magazines to the catwalks, and even the likes of Kate Moss and Lauren Conrad are wearing them. But as Leia wrote: 'Are you bold enough to wear them?

I suppose they would be quite hard wear for a casual day out shopping and I don't know how well I'd pull this off, but they do look so lovely. And, there are so many styles and varieties, that there are pairs for most, if not all, occasions.


Couture Carrie, for example, picked out a wonderful selection of boots here,
showing that with thigh high boots, maybe there is something for everyone. I don't know how comfortable I'd be in Stiletto Thigh High Boots though. I can imagine myself falling all over the place. But they do look absolutely gorgeous. For example, these Faith boots are stunning Personally I'd love a flat pair of boots.


I think they'd be the easiest and most convenient to wear. Maybe something like these from Office They definitely look more comfortable and practical for everyday life! The best thing, in my opinion to wear them with are a short skirt or mini dress, or maybe a pair of skinny jeans and tunic. Here are my high street picks for over the knee boots. It includes choices from places such as Top Shop and Asos, along with what I'd wear them with:

I've been busy painting rooms in my new house! So far we have painted the office Tickle Me Peach, which is a brilliant shade of yellow! Also painted the utility room a tropical blue shade, and we have a beautiful ripe pumpkin shade we will be painting some where, as well as a sun-kissed apricot! So cheery and beautiful! I will get pictures as soon as my camera works!!

Oh, Jessica!

So I wanted to post more pictures of just Jessica Stroup, a star of 90210. I wanted my viewers to see what she dresses like in real life vs. on the show!

I also wanted to bring attention to how thin these two stars of 90210 were back in September of 2008. It's great to see Jessica Stroup looking healthy now! She doesn't appear to be scary thin, and looks so much healthier! So that is fantastic news. Although, I don't have any pictures of Shenae Grimes on this post, you can tell by watching the new season on 90210 that she has put on more weight. So thankfully people were looking out for these two stars, surprisingly people in the media encouraged them to gain weight! Which is much better then those terrible times when the media pin points those stars they think need to loose weight!



Anyway, onto the fabulous Jessica Stroup!

As you can tell these pictures are over a long length of time, since in some she is pre-bob. But I think her fashion style is amazing! The guy in the picture with her is her boyfriend Dustin, who is also on 90210, but is not on the second season so far. I think Jessica looks gorgeous! Her eyes are stunning! She looks healthy and happy! Which is always important! I also love her rich hair color! Makes me want to go darker for the fall/winter! I'm still getting antsy with my hair color, so we will see!!

That Famous Zipcode: 90210!

90210 has become one of my favorite shows right now. I watch it every Tuesday night! Not only has the story lines gotten me hooked but so has the fashion! This girls are always amazingly dressed. They each have their own style sense and always look gorgeous! So I thought, I should definitely include some of their fabulous outfits in a post for The Hot Spot! So check these out!

The four main girls are:

Adrianna: played by Jessica Lowndes

I noticed when looking for pictures that I love Jessica Stroup's character Silver sense of style the most! So that's probably why there is more pictures of her on here! lol All though all the girls dress beautiful, I love her wardrobe the best! Also, I really love her haircut for this second season. The shorter look is definitely more attractive for her! It makes me want to cut my hair!! I wish mine looked like hers! My husband tells me it's my hair I can do whatever I want with it, but I know he likes longer hair better......so what's a girl to do?? Plus, I always go back and forth with wanting long hair and short, so who knows...... haha

I also think Adrianna's longer hair looks amazing on her, it's gorgeous and looks better then the shorter hair looked on her. Obviously longer hair looks better on some, just as shorter hair looks better on others. I think it has a lot to do with your face shape!

Get A Move On It!

The other day I put in Pride and Prejudice. It had been a while since I last watched it. I was reminded why it is one my favorite movies! The love story between Elizabeth and Mr.Darcy is so brilliant and very captivating! The clothes for this film are amazing. If you haven't seen this film, I would most definitely suggest you do! It brings you into a world and time that none of us have gotten a chance to experience! Oh, how I wish I lived back then, at least for a little while. It was a time of great elegance!

I was also reminded of how gorgeous Keira Knightley is! Now, I must say I do not approve of some of the pictures I've seen of her looking scary thin! That isn't good, but most of the time she looks stunning! Something about her face is just beautiful! Her are some amazing shots of her to only further my point!

Isn't she just gorgeous! Her bone structure and her hair and everything else is just beautiful! Do you agree??

Well, I gotta go now, we are closing on our home today at 3:30! We finally get the keys to our first home! It has been a long and time-consuming ordeal, but it has finally come to end! For those of you who don't know, my husband and I have been living in an apartment, and have been lucky enough to buy our first home! Now all we have to do is move! We've already been packing, which let me say is dreadful! So I can't wait to be done with that and settled in our new house! I hope all of you are having as good of day as I am!

Wishing for My Camera to be fixed!!!

I wanted to post Blake Lively's outfit from the premiere of Where the Wild Things Are on October 13th. This beautiful dress is Marchesa! Anyway, I think she looks stunning!

So not having my camera working is totally a bummer. I tried to use the camera that's on my laptop, and these are the pitiful pictures I came up with......

I look sad in this last picture because:

I can't even get a full outfit post because I have to be close enough to the computer to press the button to snap the picture, and of course the quality is bad......

Anyway, my hair was crimped since I had it in braids the night before.

I'm terribly sorry for these not so hot pictures, but they will have to do for now, I'm going to take my camera into the local camera store and see how much it will cost to repair, hopefully cheaper than buying a new one!

Onto something else, lately I've been reading my copy of the Teen Vogue Handbook, and it is such a fascinating read! There is a lot of useful information is this book, and I am so happy I ordered it off of Amazon. If you don't have it yet, I suggest you get it soon, especially if you are interested in a career in the fashion industry!
