Gold Rush!!

The tank and belt are both from Forever 21, so I can afford those. The other items, however, are way out of my price range!! Sadly! I really love that skirt though! All of these gold pieces are beautiful I think! I also think I need a nice tan to wear them!!! lol

That very reason is probably why I don't own any gold colored clothes, I hope this summer I can change that!!

Embracing White

Having fun on Polyvore again! I love how crisp white looks!! I think that white umbrella looks elegant and graceful! The flower rings are cute and all of the other fun stuff obviously caught my eye!!

Do you embrace white? Or are you afraid to wear it since it can easily be ruined? I have a pair of white pants, that thankfully I have not gotten any stains on, and I have had them for a couple of years!! I love them!
Have a wondeful day!

How To ( Brought to you by Teen Vogue)

I saw this article in the latest Teen Vogue magazine and thought this might be helpful to those of you looking to make something to wear, but needing it to be a simple enough project. I hope this works out for you! Let me know if anyone decides to do this. I'd love to see how it turns out. I myself am thinking about making this dress. Although, I can't think of what I would spell out on the shirt though. Any suggestions?? Good luck, and be creative and fun with choosing your vintage fabric!

Word Play
Sophie Buhai (left) and Lisa Mayock (right), both wearing Vena Cava, with model Nina in the T-shirt dress they created.

What You'll Need:
*three yards of vintage fabric
*A tape measure
*scissors, needle, and thread
*a white t-shirt
*felt Stick-It letters
...........................................................................................................

Step 1: Down to Size
Cut the fabric to make the skirt of the dress. For width, measure your waist and multiply that number by three. Next, cut the desired length.

Step 2: Main Squeeze
Using the needle and thread, make a running stitch across the top of the fabric, with each stitch about one-quarter inch in length. When finished, pull the stitch to shirr the skirt.

Step 3: Spell It Out
Trim the bottom of the T-shirt so that it hits your natural waist. Sew the skirt's waist to the T-shirt's bottom. Stick the letters across the front of the shirt to spell out your message.

The Results
Enjoy your new custom dress!

Rock the T-Shirt

So, as promised I have an actual outfit post!! So I tend to wear my husbands t-shirts to bed, and thought one morning why don't I try to pair this up with my new black leggings and see how it goes!? It's practically long enough, and I reversed my pink skinny belt to the black side. And paired it with my black heels! Also I had put my hair in braids the night before so I could have that crimped look, which I thought added to the rocker look.....since it is an ACDC shirt! I did not wear this out in public though, I will admit that. :) Although it doesn't reveal anything, I'm not quite sure how I feel about going out in a short "t-shirt dress". So anyway, what do you all think? This is a bit bizarre, but I think creative, right? Oh, I hope so! :)
Below, are just some pics with my crimped hair. One with a fake flower and the other with out. Do any of you still put your hair in braids the night before to achieve the crimped look? I haven't done this since high school, but I liked how my hair turned out! Also, I know that there are crimpers out there to buy. Do any of you own one? if so how well does it work for you??

It's All In The Face

I think the face says a lot about a person, and no I'm not just talking about whether they are good looking or not. Looking at someones face, really looking, you can see part of their character really shine through. Or different facial expressions they have can give you insight into their soul. What do you think your face says about you?? Be nice to yourself too!

Anyway, I really hope all of you are having a wonderful day! My favorite picture is the second one. Doesn't she look gorgeous there?

Blumarine I Adore You!

So I am utterly in love with Blumarine right now! Here are some pictures to show you how Blumarine has updated their look over the years. Above is from their 2007 Spring collection. I adore the golds. I want all of these looks. The outfits looks classic, elegant, and glamorous!!! I think anyone would feel very pretty in those clothes! I could picture someone attending a tea party in these dresses, or even a glamorous night out!!

Above here, the 2008 collection is shown. We see bolder colors and prints as well! I love the bold purple leopard jacket, and the bright orange and yellow looks are great for summer!! The shoes are also amazing!!

Last, we see some clothes from the 2009 collection. These colors are sweet and enduring! I think perfect for a Caribbean getaway!! I can't decide which shade I like more! What do you think? I think I'm ready for a vacation. Does anyone know places to travel that are offering good deals right now?? If so, let me know! I hope you all are having a wonderful week so far! Take Care! :)

Alright, so since pink is my favorite color, I absolutely love this pic of a Blumarine Runway show, I believe it took place last year. Either way, these clothes are gorgeous!!! They have an elegant and enchanted feel to them!!
So below are two pics that my grandma sent me. I'm not sure where she got them, but the purse and sewing machine are actually cakes!! Can you believe it!? They are so detailed! Everything is edible!!!!

What do Frieda Pinto, Japanese Gummies, and Me All Have in Common?

So what do these three things have in common?? lol They are all in my blog post today! Otherwise, nothing.....haha So there's my outfit of the day. Again, please excuse my shower behind me!
Black dress: Forever 21
Black leggings: Forever 21
Pink Belt: Forever 21
Zebra Flats: Playless ( you thought I was going to say Forever 21 didn't u? :) )

Alright so, Frieda Pinto, you all should recognize her from Slumdog Millionare. If you don't then I suggest you go rent the movie right this very instant! It was a wonderful movie, but it is really sad at times, so be prepared! Anyway, I think she is very pretty! Here are some shots of her!

What do you think?? I think her hair is gorgeous too! I'm not sure if this is a 100% accurate but I have heard she really did come from the slums. So how amazing is that she gets to be successful and live a better life??

So unto one more thing before I go. Pictured below are the Japanese gummies I was talking about on Fabulouseverything's blog. I actually found them! Kasugai is the brand name. They come in like 12 flavors and are made from real fruit juice, also they are individually wrapped. I believe I have had Kiwi, green apple, and strawberry. It's been so long since I've had them, but I remember them being delicious. I've discovered you can buy them on amazon if they don't sell these gummies anywhere near you! I want to thank warholchic2 for her help! :)

I hope you all have a wonderful day!!!
